The Veterans Foundation of New Hampshire President Dana Hussey presents a check for $500 to Past VFW Post Commander Richard Angwin.

This year’s VFW Post 1631 Commander Dexter Heath and Senior Vice Commander Zeana Morris will accompany Past Post Commander Richard Angwin on their trek to the VFW National Home.

The VFW National Home has been a source of support for military families since the early 1900’s.  First created to assist the survivors of fallen veterans, the VFW National Home now provides outreach to military families struggling through active duty life, single-parents and family support through the veteran rehabilitation process and is home to children orphaned through war.
