Reduce Utility Cost

All VFW & American Legion Posts in New Hampshire can save up to 25% on energy supply costs and freeze these savings for three years. This is a longtime cost-savings program that has been in use by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire (BIA), New Hampshire Chambers of Commerce and New Hampshire Association of Counties. This program has already saved New Hampshire businesses, such as New Hampshire Ball Bearing, Hitachi Cable, Amphenol and Lindt & Sprungli chocolateers millions on their energy supplycosts. I am working directly with Bruce Whitney, General Manager – Northeast for Portsmouth-based Usource.

We want every Post in the state to sign up and get these savings as soon as possible.
New Hampshire, like 16 other states is deregulated for energy purchasing. This means that electricity and natural gas users may buy their energy at competitive prices from a supplier and not only from the local utilityat higher rates. Usource has been helping companies accomplish this and save since 1999.

Utilities have begun to announce increases in electricity supply costs closing in on ten cents/kWh starting in January 2013. Current pricing is less than eight cents.

Usource combines electricity usage of your Post with all other Posts and other companies to make it appear as one large energy user as a large hotel, manufacturer or other business. Prices are lower for large energy users.

Usource watches the energy markets and captures a competitive price for us just as they do for their 1,200+ larger customers. Electricity and natural gas prices have been identified at nine-year lows.

You may FREEZE these low prices for up to three years.
