Profile Bank: Our Neighbor, Our Partner, Our Bank
Posted by Office of the Executive Director on Aug 5, 2011The Veterans Foundation of New Hampshire Inc. opened its new business checking account with New Hampshire’s own Profile Bank today. Profile Bank offers competitive business and non-profit checking programs. The Veterans Foundation is taking advantage of the low $25 minimum to open, No minimum balance requirement or monthly service fee and free checks each month. Plus, Profile bank is interested in local charitable initiatives and makes a point to understand the mission of the Veterans Foundation.
“What distinguishes you from other non-profits like the VFW?” asked Tina Goulet, Profile Bank’s Customer Service representative in Rochester where we opened our account.
We are a “New Foundation with new boundaries that can help Military and their families throughout New Hampshire.” says Foundation President, Paul Lloyd. “Unlike, say a VFW Post, that is restricted to it’s local area, the Veterans Foundation is state-wide. The VFW like other Veterans Service groups is a 501 (c) 19. They can’t offer large tax-deductible contribution opportunities to corporations. We can.” says Foundation Treasurer Dana Hussey. ”
The Veterans Foundation of New Hampshire fills a void within our state by providing support to Veterans Service Organizations such as the VFW, American Legion, DAV and others. It is perhaps the only charitable, tax-exempt 501 (c) 3 chartered particularly to assist veterans service organizations in the state and provides a venue of support of tax deductible contributions from corporations and individuals in the region to benefit veterans and military families.
Profile Bank has a reputation for building with it’s community. We are pleased to join the Profile family by supporting their efforts through building with our neighbors, our partner and our bank!
